Sell my baby?
After 25 years we decided to sell our 1995 Hunter 26.
We're tired & have only been out on the boat twice this year.
I'm thinking now is a better time to sell than early spring when it's on a trailer.
It has the original 9.9 hp Evinrude that always starts on the second pull, a furling jib and of course the main sail.
Everything works fine.
It's been almost two years since I've painted the bottom.
And yes, this is the boat that hosted the Colts cheerleaders for the 2000 calendar pic!
I think we need a reunion!
I know there are people out there that would be on this boat every week and will have a ton of fun while I have other interests closer to home.
Also included: New compass to be installed as original compass is looking old, many lifejackets, head, mast raising pole, newer stern rail grill, new grill fry pan to keep grill clean, 8 month old Bimini cover & seat covers.
The boat as a full head with sink.
Trailer is on site with the boat.
To do - One window leaks a bit, usually only when boat is on trailer for winter. (See pic, I tape a plastic bag over the window for the winter) The new compass needs to be installed as the original is looking old.
The bottom might need to be painted again in 18 months (a few hours of not fun but I have a trick!) Two sleeping cushions down below are fine but becoming brittle.
Recently I've noticed a couple of visible sail seam tears?
Let me know & we can go take a look at the boat in the slip at Eagle Creek reservoir.
