Boat is located in: Wakarusa, Kansas
This is a 1959 18 foot Luger Runabout.
The base kit was probably the Nassau.
Maybe.
Built by my Uncle Bob Matney and friends and launched at the Lake of the Ozarks, in Gravois Mills in 1961.
The Nassau kit was an open bow runabout and Uncle Bob decided that he wanted a closed bow and used Mahogany on that and the tops of the sides.
Reportedly it was the first inboard/ outboard on the Lake at that time.
It uses a Gray Marine flat head 6 cyl, based as I recall on the Chrysler flat head 6 of the time and reportedly makes 140 HP.
The outdrive is Eaton.
This boat never sat in water more than a few days as it has it's own cradle and was winched into a garage attached to the lake house.
Never ran in Salt water.
This was always a family boat and I got it from Uncle Bob and am the second owner.
Did a complete Wood restoration during the winter of 2015.
Needed a new hull board and was sanded and repainted with marine paint and marine varnish on the Mahogany.
Still original interior in good shape.
Very good drivetrain.
The engine was redone in the 80's and runs very strong.
The outdrive was rebuilt in 2010.
Has Dual marine batteries and a battery control switch so you can use 1 or 2 batteries as desired.
The trailer fits the boat very nice and has not been in the water since it got a fresh wheel bearing repack and the tires were replaced.
Trailer comes with a bill of sale only.
She is a fine runner and head turner at a reasonable price.
Would like to deliver and show her off to the new owner if possible.
Boat has a good Missouri Title.
I have a video I can e-mail to you if you call me.
