Boat is located in: Algonac, Michigan
Offered only for the 1960 model year by the Cavalier division, the 25' Custom Cruiser was an attractive size and configuration.
At 25 feet in length, she is large enough for entertaining a few guests, but small enough to trailer and store easily.
This example is very original and well documented.
She has won the "Most Original Boat of show" several years , the last in 2014, her last show appearance.
The only items in the boat that are not original are the cabin carpet, 51 gallon aluminum fuel tank, the V-berth cushions and the hurricane cover.
She comes with many spare parts for the engine, two extra wiper motors, two spare fenders, the original canvas has recent canvas as well, boarding ladder, boarding steps, the original two-burner alcohol stove, and oscillating fan in the cabin.
Owner has installed a house battery and an Automatic Charging Relay on a multiple battery switch so that both batteries receive the correct amount of charge.
There is also a shore powered charger in the engine room.
The hull was repainted in 2017 and the varnish renewed in 2018.
This is a fast cruiser, quick to plane with one or a dozen on board.
Transom and front deck has been revarnished by renowned Classic restorer Wayne Eversol
